Terry Schneider
BOARD MEMBER
For 22 years Terry worked with refugees from over 50 countries while leading the Austrian Church to engage the millions of refugees that came through Austria during his tenure. Terry is a national leader and mobilizer for World Venture recruiting singles and young families to take up the mantle of engaging the Nations.
Ask anyone who knows Terry, and they will tell you that he loves to encourage and mentor those who are called to serve Jesus. Terry and his wife, Donna Jean, are leaving a legacy through their seven children and their 16 grandchildren.
His favorite hobbies are photography and woodworking, but his greatest love is spending time with Jesus in his word and sharing what he’s learning through discipleship and mentoring.

Julia Camenisch
BOARD MEMBER
Julia Camenisch (Come-in-ish) has served the refugee community of Charlotte for over 12 years. She is the program director of Project 658's Make Welcome Women's Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, a holistic vocational training program for refugee women. Julia is also the communications team lead for the Refugee Highway Partnership of North America. Her passion is supporting refugee mothers and women as they struggle with learning a new language, finding work, dealing with trauma, and on top of it all, parenting their children in a new context & culture. Her goal is that every woman would experience the love of Christ and would find community and support in their journey to find a home. Julia & her husband, Daniel, have 5 children, and their lives are never boring!

Lauren White
BOARD MEMBER
Lauren is an entrepreneur, small business owner, and leader in several creative fields. She has worked as a Website Designer for several organizations including Knapsack, Liberty University and Sean Garner Consulting. For over seven years she served the wedding industry through her photography and content-creating business. Lauren has served the foster care community for three years, working to empower single women to break the cycles of poverty. Through serving NtN as a board member Lauren brings her creativity, entrepreneurial experience, and compassion to serve the refugee community. Lauren is a passionate follower of Jesus who is a wife to her husband Greg and mother to two amazing children.

Kendall Phillips
BOARD MEMBER
Kendall is the co-founder of NtN. Kendall has a relentless love to serve the Nations coming to the city of Charlotte. Every day Kendall uses her Masters in Counseling: PTSD and BS in Women’s Studies from Liberty University as she welcomes and empowers mothers and families to rebuild their lives. Kendall spent four years living and working in the Middle East as an NGO worker. During her work in Turkey, Kendall saw refugees flee into Turkey from the Syrian civil war. It was in these moments of seeing refugees that her vision to start to Neighbor the Nations began. Kendall just celebrated 11 years of marriage to her husband (Chris Phillips) and is a mother of 4 boys. She enjoys cooking, outdoor adventures, and conversations over good coffee.

BOARD ADVISOR
I have participated in refugee and inner city outreach in Charlotte, NC for over 30 years.
In this time I have guided outreaches to the various waves of refugees that have come to the City of Charlotte. I have been part of outreach ministries to Nepali, Vietnamese, Liberian, Somalian, Bosnian, Congolese, Afghan, Syrian refugees and many others.
My vocation is an attorney with the firm of Thurman, Wilson, Boutwell & Galvin, P. A.
